Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) and Monash Academy announce admissions for Ph.D with Scholarships for 2014 session
The Academys jointly-badged Ph.D program has students who will undertake interdisciplinary research in the fields of science, technology, computer science, IT, engineering and mathematics Ads by Google
The Academys December 2014 intake will focus on attracting excellent and highly motivated students to work in areas of applied research, particularly problems that are important to many of the Academys industrial partners

COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
Application Requirements
Exceptional students whose intended area of study aligns with the research priorities of the IITB-Monash Research Academy are invited to apply for the joint PhD program
The minimum entrance requirements for PhD admission are:
First class or equivalent Masters degree in Engineering/ Technology or First class Masters degree in Science or First class Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology/Science and a valid GATE score Note: Candidates without a valid GATE score or research fellowship but a minimum of two years professional experience are eligible

Scholarship of Rs 280,000 per annum
CAREER PROSPECTS
For stay in Australia: A grant of up to A$ 11,000 for the time the candidate is be required to be in Australia
Duration of stay in Australia: A minimum of 3 to 6 months in Australia working with the Monash University co-supervisor (some projects may require the candidate to be in Australia for a longer period of time or undertake more than one trip)
Monash University Fees: The international student tuition fees will be waived
Note: Actual scholarships that will be provided to any specific student will depend on their qualifications, grades and performance

To apply to The Academy visit www.iitbmonash.org and fill in the online EOI form
Step 1: Please click on https://emuapps.monash.edu.au to fill in the Expression of Interest (EOI) Form If your EOI form is found to be suitable, you will receive an email indicating you are able to proceed to Step 2 of the application stage
Step 2: If your EOI form is found NOT to be suitable, you will also be notified via email. In case you have any doubts, please read the Applications Process FAQ before sending your doubts to students@iitbmonash.org If your EOI Form is found to be suitable, you will need to download and complete the full application form (Form A) at http://www.iitbmonash.org/form-a
